We are pleased to announce that Prof. Mirela Cristea has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Green Economy and Low-Carbon Development (JGELCD).

Prof. Mirela Cristea currently serves as professor of Department of Finance, Banking and Economic Analysis at University of Craiova, Romania. She has authored or co-authored more than 77 publications, and is deeply involved in the project Public Law in Context. For nearly three decades, Prof. Mirela Cristea has been actively engaged in the research and teaching of financial risk management, banking, and banking and finance. She is widely regarded as a noteworthy economics professor in Romania and other European countries.

Journal of Green Economy and Low-Carbon Development (JGELCD) (www.acadlore.com/journals/jgelcd) is a fully referred international open access journal concerned with the technological applications in economic development in response to challenges arising from climate change. Its mission is to encourage economic change towards low-carbon development, and highlight the importance of green economy in the current world. JGELCD welcomes original submissions in various forms, including reviews, regular research papers, and short communications as well as Special Issues on particular topics, and facilitates the widest possible dissemination of innovative ideas across the areas of green, low-carbon development.
